Buchman Feed Mill / Harmony Mill Antiques
At the intersection of NJ 519 and NJ 646/Belvidere Pike in the community of Harmony.
The structure was originally built in 1881 as a one room schoolhouse.
The school provided an education facility for several generations of Lower Harmony youngsters. In the 1920's a larger Central Harmony School was built nearby.
It was about this time, in 1928, that George A. Buchman converted the old school into a feed mill.
The feed mill and warehouse closed in 1964 and was converted yet again, this time into a hardwarew store.
Today, the old schoolhouse/feed mill is the Mill at Harmony, a antique furniture outlet that specializes in beautiful, yet inexpensive objects. The main structure is now two stories with white siding, including the additions from the milling years.
