A line shaft runs across the ceiling of the two room first story of the mill. It is this shaft that turns the large pully on the outside of the mill.
The basement/lower section of the mill is asseccable through the door in the stone wall as shown.
The hurst frame is inside the lower section of the mill as is a cooling springhouse type vat.

The miller's farmhouse as this was a farm mill. The building was being repointed and undergoing other maintanence at the time of visit.
The oringinal house on the property is little more than a shed now. Notice the mill on the right and the larger house on the left.
The dairy barn on the farm. Notice the large wheel type contraption on the side of the barn. This was a pully system, connecting to the mill, which enabled the farmer to mechanically operate hay forks and other mechanical equipment at and in the barn, utilizing the water-power that operated the mill.
The final photo shows the corresponding wheel-pulley on the side of the mill, which was operated by the power drawn from the mill operating mechanisms.
