Located on Ballinger Mill Road about 0.5 miles north of SR 414. Turn left on Glassy Rd/Cr 44, then left on Old Ballenger Mill Road to thew mill. The mill is about 3 miles northeast of the town of Tigerville.

Ballenger Mill was built c. 1820's by Lewis H. Dickey.

The mill was fed by the south prong of the Middle Tyger River. The 2oth century, stringer, covered bridge on the property crosses over the same stream.
