Andersonville Milling Co
Located in Pioneer Farm Park on the south side of Church Street south of Sr 228 and east of Sr 49, about 60 miles south of Macon.
The mill was built in the mid. 1900s and is an attraction at the annual Andersonville Fair.
It was rebuilt in 1994, but because of unreliable water supply, the mill is powered by an electric motor, even though the overshot waterwheel is intact.
The semi annual Antique, Civil War Collectables & Craft Fair is held the 1st weekend of October and again on the last weekend in May, at the Andersonvcille Historic Fair Park in which is the Pioneer Farm Village.
The Andersonville Civil War Cemetery and partially rebuilt Andersonville Confederate Prison stockade/entry are nearby, just up Sr 49, about 60 miles south of Macon,
The mill was considered operational in 1995. The still in the farm village is not functional. The "moonshine still in the photo is probably not functional, sorry folks.
