Verse for Thought
"My enemies, don't be glad because of my troubles! I may have fallen, but I will get up; I may be sitting in the dark, but the Lordis my light."

Built in 1831 as a grist mill and feed store by John Cary. He owned the water rights to the southern end of the canal, which is located toi the west of the present front entrance, the 2.5 story end.

In 1875, the Adams family continued Cary's operation at the mill until 1961. The mill is open to the public by appointment as a museum operated by the Bellows Falls Historical Society. Many of the mills operating systems are intact and in place. GPS: Lat. 43 07.90N, Long 72 26.60W.
