Saunooke Mill
The mill is on the east side of US 441 at Acquoni Road; across the Oconaluftee River in the town of Cherokee when entering from the Smoky Mtns.

This mill was built in the 1970's and was still operational in 2012.
The address is: 25 Big Cove Road, Cherokee, NC 28719.
The water bypasses the waterwheel when the mill is not in production.
