According to written history of Goffstown, Kendrick Kendall, David Parker and John F. Parker built a grist mill c 1881 on the site of a woolen mill built c 1825 by Beniah Richards.
Richards operated the woolen mill until his death in 1840. The mill was then used for various purposes until operated by Jeremiah Austin for the manufacture of Sash and Blinds. The dam on the Piscataquog River in the photo with a textile mill on the opposite shore.

In December of 1873 the mill was destroyed by fire. A second historical account states that in 1883 J. M. & D. A. Parker and Kendrick Kendall erected a grist mill on the site of the old sash & blind factory.
The mill was leased to Parker Brothers (Charles S. & Henry W. Parker). Henry disposed of his interest to Frank A. Parker. Frank ran the mill until Dec. of 1907 when he sold it to Robert M. Gordon.GPS: 43D 1.13'N, 71D 35.85'W ele 305'/93 meters Goffstown Quadrangle
