Kenworthy Woolen Mill
Take Pa 82 north from Coatesville to the junction with Pa 340. Go west on Pa 340 about 1 mile to Wagontown Rd. and turn left (south), and go 1.3 miles to the mill on the left. The roof will be visible first. The mill sits down over a hill on private property.
The woolen mill is an eight bay, 3.5 story, stone mill with a five bay, 2 story addition.
The larger section of the mill with the miller's house on the right.
The addition or part of the original that has been altered, a section of wood frame replacing some stone.
The mill end from the driveway entrance into the mill complex.
The Wagontown Road side of the mill from ground level.
Probably the millwright's maintanence shop for the mill.
The miller's house. There were probably other workers housing nearby originally.
The typical freight hoist and vertical doors on the high end of the mill. The mill seems to have been recently converted to an apartment complex. No more is known at present of the mills history.
