Harrington Grist Mill
Exit Highway 401 at interchange 222 and travel north for 25km on Oxford County Road 6. Turn left onto Oxford County Road 28 and travel for 4km to the village of Harrington. Turn left into the Harrington Conservation Park. The mill is located a short walk across the dam to the east.

The Harrington Grist Mill was built in 1846 by D.L. Demorest, an Empire Loyalist,and continued in operation until 1966.

It was originally powered by an overshot water wheel. In the 1880's water wheel was replaced by a Little Giant Turbine.

The mill has been under restoration since 2000 by the members of the Harrington Grist Mill Restoration Project.

The turbine was removed and restored in 2001.
