Gunkle Spring Mill
From King-of-Prussia at I-76, Schuylkill Expressway, go west on US 202 for 13 miles-plus to exit for Pa 401. Take 401 west sveral hundred yards and turn right on Moores Road. The mill is just on the right next to the road soon after the right turn.

A smaller 30'X 35'stone mill fed by the waters of Gunkle Springs. The mill was built in 1793 by Michael & Catarina Gunkle of a variety of stone types.
The mill once had an outside wheel, whether overshot, undershot, or mid shot or breast wheel has not been determined. The remnants of the wheel axle shaft is evident in this photo.
