Martin Bash Mill
Take N. High Street/Narrows Road/Sh 234 north from the center of Arendtsville for about three miles to the junction with Excelsior Road about one mile beyond Bridgeport, near the Franklin-Menallen Twps. line.
The mill is at the junction of Sh 234/Narrows Road with Excelsior Road on the left side of Sh 234.
A 35'X 70' frame mill of 2.5 stories on a stone foundation.
Situated in a tract of woods that has grown up around the mill. Quite pretty in the autumn of the yearas the leaves change color.
A closer view of the left/lower side of the structure. The shed fronting the mill, probably the office during operation, is just to the ridht of the photo and is falling into ruin and decay.
There is still a mill pond and a millrace associated with the mill nearby.
