Mt. Washington Mill
This mill is located at 1348 Smith Ave., off Falls Rd./Sr 25, north of W. Northern Parkway between Pikesville and Towson, Md in the northwest part of Baltimore.
The oldest building at the Mt. Washington Mill complex, is the stone mill dating to 1811 and is the third oldest water powered cotton mill in the U.S.
This section of the refurbished/alternate use mill is occupied by Starbucks Coffee and Mt. Washington Wine Co.
The chic Holly G boutique is nestled in the Mount Washington Mill between Starbucks and Whole Foods. Known for carrying trendy women's clothing, the boutique also sells a variety of contemporary sundries, including wrapping paper, ornaments, lotions and candles. Yelp has reported the store closed and the website is parked on GODaddy.com for purchase. Notice the large water inlet arch in photo.

Over the years, Mt. Washington Mill grew and more buildings were constructed.
It became part of a chain of mills in the Jones Falls Valley owned by William E. Hooper and Sons, the leading manufacturer of Cotton Sail Cloth in the country.
In 1923 it was converted into the Maryland Bolt and Nut Co., and operated until 1989.

In 1988, Himmelrich Associates bought the property and began renovating it to offices and shops. It was restored in 1990 as Fresh Field Shopping Complex.
