Verse for Thought
Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
({1 Corinthians 7:19 NKJV})

A former cigar factory built in 1866 in Sellersville, Pennsylvania on N. Main St. In the late 1970's and early 1980's the Schoellkopf Tile & Floor Covering Co. had their business situated in the old factory. In 1987, it was evident that the mill had just been restored or renovated. Perhaps it was to be the new Sellersville Museum or else apartments.

The near building is the old Sellersville Fire Hall at 1888 W. Church St., built in 1888 right next to the Teller's Cigar Factory. Perhaps the owners of the factory had some say in the placement of the fire station, maybe even donating the land or providing it inexpensively to enable the business to have fire protection close at hand. Purely speculation from this end. The old Fire Station in 1987 was serving as an interim Sellersville Museum.

The communities of Sellersville and Perkasie (a sister connected community) had several cigar factories or related tobacco industries located within the towns; even though, the bulk of cigar factories were located in Lancaster, Lancaster County and in Reading in Berks County
