The 1882 brick roller mill was built on a limestone foundation measuring 45'X 50' and built to a height of 2.5 stories above the foundation. Isaac Groff built the mill to be powered by two turbines furnished with water from Mill Creek. The mill was owned by I. B. Groff in 1899 and operated as a grist and flour mill to produce 10 barrels of flour / day.

In 1969 it was operating as John Bonholtzer's Feed Mill. In 1992 and 1995, it had been religated to storage, but kept up and in good condition.

The miller's house is across the street and is an interesting house in its own right. The barn has been converted into the "Old Mill Shoppe", a crafts and knick-knacks shop specializing in Christmas items.
