South of U.S.202 2 1/2 miles on Almshouse Rd. (CR 09046) take a right turn onto Lower State Rd. (CR 09041) at area known as Castle Valley. Where you cross creek after junction, there used to a covered bridge called Castle Valley Covered Bridge. Travel about 1/2 mile to mill on right just before the road goes around a left-hand uphill corner.

A very nice 3-1/2 story mill. Two lower stories of stone and the upper story and one-half are wood frame.
