From US 71 at Harrisonville, Mo. go south 3 miles and take Mo 7 east for 10 miles. Exit on Sh F at Garden City, go about one mile to Old Highway 7, turn left and go about 0.5 miles to the mill/elevator on the right at Park Ave. intersection.
The Garden City Elevator closed about the end of the 20th century, but a feed supply business is still operated from part of the establishment.
The mill/elevator was owned and operated for many years by Gene Buerge. The enterer's father-law, Lyle Wittrig, was employed part time, then full time for quite a few years.
The structures are still in stable condition and could be reutilized as a going concern with very little renovation.

With 10 years of experience in the feed business, she as the sole owner, has reopened the mill & has been buying from local farmers, mixing and bagging grains and feeds.
