Located about 10-12 miles west of Manchester, New Hampshire. Take Sr 114 west from Manchester, then west on Sr 13 to New Boston. Inn New Boston, at the junction of Sr 13/River Rd. and Meetinghouse Rd. and Mill St., take Mill St. straight ahead for about 500? to the mill on the right. The address is 84 Mill St., New Boston, NH.

This mill was built around 1800-1810 as the Reed McLane Mill. It continued to operate as a grist mill up until W.W. II when it became a Merrimack Farmers Exchange.

At that time the machinery was removed, but the burr stones remained. The dam gave way in 1997 and now cannot be rebuilt.

The 1803 date plaque for the grain mill. The term used for grain in England and surrounding countries, especially in the early 1800's was "corn mill".

The mill has been restored and beautifully maintained as a pvt. residence by H. Randall Parker. It is a very large red frame structure, situated directly on the river within the town.

The dam is now gone. The Parker family has moved to a new location in central Ohio, but they still own the mill in New Boston.
