The 30'X 40' fieldstone/stucco 3.5 story grist mill, c. 1744, had a 30'X 30'stone/stucco saw mill attached to the rear which had one story removed, at some point, to make it a 2.5 story attachment to the rear of the mill.

The large stone/stucco miller's house sits next to Mill Road, but views of the mill are available south and north of the house. By 1987, the mill had been converted to a residence, unique in that large sections of stone wall had been removed and replaced with glass.

A very interesting mill, one that needs more information and history know, which will be forthcoming. The mill was converted to steam, probably for power during low stream flows, as indicated by the incorporated stone chiminey, and probably the mill office was located in that front corner. The old painting indicates the sawmill with 3.5 stories; the miller's house, extreme left; the single arch Moore's Mill stone bridge; and the neighboring house, circa 1725, and barn (barn since rebuilt).

Millstone located in front of now sliding door as entrance to saw mill. This was the area where logs would have been dragged into the saw mill.

The single arched Moore's Mill stone bridge separating the mill property from the neighboring historical property. The house was built in 1725. The original barn perhaps burned and was rebuilt within the last ten years.
