Take Pa 179 from Pa 32/River Road or from US 202 west of New Hope and turn south on Sugan Road for 0.2 miles. The mill ruins are on the right by the creek.

Ruins of the 1707 grist mill built by Robert Heath on the Aquetong Creek near New Hope. The ruin was once a prosperous grist mill, several stories high, providing competition for the Ellicott Mill in Carversville and the Armitage Mill near Solebury.
Heath had exclusive water rights for grinding meal & grist as part of the agreement for building the mill. This he continued to do until 1828.
In 1873, 1.5 stories were added to the height of the mill. It was still standing intact in 1923 after closing the operation in 1916.
