After operating the Brinker Mill for six years, John Keller built a mill at this site some time before 1820. The catshead looms through the November tree branches.

John George Keller and his son, Joseph Keller, ran the mill until a fire destroyed it in 1847. Keller then built a larger mill on the some site.
