An early operator/owner was named Godshall. In the 1930's, production had shifted from flour and or livestock feeds to Dr. Troupe's Staff-o-life food products.

This use, the last operations of the mill, continued into the late 1940's or early 1950's, until the mill closed. The use since that time has been primarily for storage.

The photo shows the headrace inlet arch. Six hundred yards of headrace from the other side of Cowpath Road fed the waters of the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek from the dam upstream to the mill.

The mill originally had a wooden overshot wheel, but this was later replaced with a steel turbine to drive the stones.
