From US 30 in New Oxford, Pa. take a right on Carlisle St. which becomes Oxford Road at the edge of town. After 1.4 miles, turn left on Fleshman's Mill Road. The mill is on the right side of the road after 1000 feet of travel.

Fleshman's Mill/Gitt's Mill/Shallas Mill/Eichelberger Mill

The 4.5 story mill was originally 2 story stone with several stories of frame. It was rebuilt in 1888 from the stone portion upward with brick for 2.5 stories.

Fleshman's Mill/Gitt's Mill/Shallas Mill/Eichelberger Mill

The catshead or sack hoist is located midway on the long side with a dormer of brick built into the 4th floor level. The mill size is roughly 45'X 65'. A very picturesque mill situated opposite the road from an historical stone dwelling that was for sale in 1999.
