Verse for Thought
"Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth....choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

The southern face of the old mill on Stony Creek. Notice the nicely formed outlet arch and the large corner quoins, especially on the front corner. These quoins really make the corner solid and strong. The huge sliding doors on the side are probably for easy access by farm equipment for storage operations.

The mill, 40'X 60', sits next to the miller's house with a springhouse between the two. Notice the door on the basement level of the 3.5 story mill providing for convenient access and egress for the miller to his house, especially in inclement weather.

The mill was in good condition in October 1992, even though it has sat idle for many years. The area between the 1st and 2nd door looked to be in need of some attention. Need some history of the operation.
