A very large 38'x60' fieldstone mill of 3 stories above the street level with several more foundation stories to the creek bed was built in 1879 by George C. Morgan near the site of the old Freedley Mill. The former Stony Creek Mills structure at 200 W Marshall St., was the RISTORANTE IL MOLINO in 1992.

The mill featured 4 runs of stones, 2 tuyrbines of 21 HP, and a 25 HP engine. After converting to the roller process; flour was ground using 5 sets of Stevens breaker rollers, 1 set of smooth rollers, 3 puifiers and 7 bolting rolls, 2 runs of stones for middlings, and 1 run of stones for livestock feed. Production on average was 45 barrels/day of flour.
