An imposing grist mill of large proportions. The main structure is 30'x50', 3 stories in height of which 2 lower stories are stuccoed fieldstone and the upper story is frame. The addition of a 3 story 25'x40' stuccoed stone/frame section makes for a large "L" shaped mill. Originally built by Thomas Yardley for whom the town is named. As of the time of this photo, it was a collection of shops and offices. Prior to this, it was used by the Cold Spring Bleachery.

By 2007, the stucco had been removered from the entire mill portions, including the additions, to reveal the beautiful fieldstone.

The plaques dating the building. The 1769 original building date by Thomas Yardley and the 1901 rebuild by the C. M. CO. This may be when it was the Cold Spring Bleachery.

Todays useage of the mill inludes: Jammer Doors, Weidel Realors, Ki Martial Arts, Total Wellness Studios/Yoga Love and perhaps more. The mill lies near the intersection of N.Main Street/Pa 32 and E. Afton Ave. The D. & L. Trail/Delaware Canal Towpath lies behind the mill.
