From Mechanicsville, northeast of Richmond, go north on Va 360 about 7 miles to Old Church Road/Sr 606, turn right and go about 3.5 miles to Flannigan's Mill Road. Turn right and drive to the mill on the left at Flannigan's Millpond.

The original mill goes back to about the 1850's.

After a fire, the present mill was built.

The mill has been remodeled to serve as a quilt shop named Millstone Quilts. Some boilts of cloth laid upon the housing containing the set of millstones.
