The original mill was built before 1908; unfortunately, it burned in 1936. William Gower rebuilt the mill, and was still active in the mills operation in the year 2000.

Today's mill is constructed of cinder blocks and wood frame. The miller's office in 2000 was where the original railroad station manager's office was.

The original cash drawer is still in the office, along with other railroad items of the day.

The old hammer mill once used is in the basement. Many old records are still in the mill.
