On Mill Street in Hagerstown. Mill Street is only about two blocks long north of Memorial Ave. E and on the east side of Old National Pike/Old US 40 near Hager Park.

The mill was built by Daniel Stull and partner, Col. Nathaniel Rochester sometime after 1791.

Daniel died in 1818 and the mill was then operated by his son, William,until he sold it to John Kennedy in 1822.

Kennedy sold the mill to William Hess in 1845. Hess later sold it to Jonathan Hager.

Upon Jonathan's death, the mill was operated by his son, William Hager, who hired Nathaniel Forey as his miller.

In 1883, Daniel Stickel leased the mill from Hager. Dr. E. R. Firey bought the mill in 1907 and later sold it to the city of Hagerstown in 1917.

The city then sold the mill to John A. Forsythe, who used the mill for storage in his furniture business.

It looks like it is still used for storage in 2010. There is no machinery remaining in the mill. GPS: 77' 42.57W, 39' 38.0?N
