Green Spring lies on the southern flank of North Mountain along Green Spring Run, a tributary stream of Back Creek.

Back Creek itself is a tributary of the Potomec River.

Directions: Located onn the south side of Va 671 a short distance west of Va 739. From Winchester, go north on Va 739 to a junction with Va 671 in White Hall. Turn west/left onto Va 671. The mill will be on the left in less than one mile.
