From Embreville on Pa 162, go south a short distance to Powell Road. Take Powell Road right about 1 mile to the junction with Green Valley Road. Turn right and go about 0.5 miles to the mill on the right.

The 1856 Atlas showed this location to be the J. Speakman's Grist & Saw Mill.

In the 1873 Atlas, the millseat was occupied by Thomas McCall's Grist & Saw Mill.

Notice the definite hollowed out mill headrace on the right side of the road before reaching the mill.

In the previous photo of the millrace, the millrace entered the mill on the opposite side, under the present awning/roof.

An 1883 Atlas of Newlin Township, Chester Co. depicted the location to be the site of William Webb's Grist Mill. Need more info about this mill.
