From Md 97 in Silver Run, go west on Mayberry Road a little over 2 miles to Babylon Road on the right. Turn onto Babylon Road and drive to the mill, about 0.1 miles, on the right.

An 1850 census shows Michael Babylon as the owner of the mill operating with 2 pair of stones. In 1880, George Babylon was the owner. An 18' fall drove a 16 hp. overshot wheel, 3.5 ft. broad, at 8 rpm.

At some later time, W. J. Hahn has the flour mill with 2 run of stones. A 15' fall on Silver Run drove an 8 hp. overshot wheel, 4' broad, at 10 rpm. The mill was occupied by A. L. McDaniel in 1966. It was not in service at the time.
