The mill is located on Watson's Mill Road in the southwest corner of New Garden Twp., near Landenburg, next to the London Britain Twp. The mill sits on the east side of the road, at the junction with Altemus Drive, on the north side of Broad Run.

The grist mill was built in 1831 and closed operations 1n 1938. Also known as William Miller Grist Mill.

The mill, 3.5 stories of native stone is in remarkable condition to have closed its doors 72 years ago.

If the wheel was external, it probably would have been mounted on this end with a flume/sluice box coming over the wheel from the right side of the photo.
