At the south end of Perryville, enter the hospital grounds on 1st St. Go to Avenue D and turn right. Continue on Ave. D and turn right on 6th St. The mill is at the end of 6th St. along Mill Creek.

Situated on the Perry Point Naval Hospital grounds at the south end of Perryville, Md.

The mill was built in the late 1700's, near the time when, the Rock Run Grist Mill at Port Deposit and the Rock Run Grist Mill across the river in Susquehanna State Park were built.

They were actually built by the same man, John Stump.

The 18th century mill is now used by the Naval Hostital as a tool shed. Check with the Perry Point Naval Hospital headquarter's for permission to enter the grounds.

It is unknown whether the mill was water-powered by a mill race from the Susquehanna River of it it was steam powered. More background information is needed.
