McCullough Bros / Allenford Feed Mill
It is located on Thomas St. at the bridge on the south side of Rt 21 in the community of Allenford, between Owens Sound and Southampton, northwest of Collingwood. In South Bruce Penninsula Twp. about 170 kilometers NW of Toronto as the crow flies.
The photo shows what appears to be a concrete raceway from the creek or river behind the mill entering the right rear of the structure, left side of the mill when looking at the rear as this photo illustrates.
The mill was at one time called McCullough Bros. Feed Mill, featuring Swift's Feeds, according to the rusted metal sign above the center door. *Upadate: The Sauble River used to supply McCullough's Mill, which closed in the late 1960's. Curtis Montgomery 02/27/2009*
From the amount of firewood on the porch and a boat located off the photo to the right of the mill, chances are pretty good that the mill is being used as a residence or a meeting hall for a sportsman's organization.
