The flume of frame construction was replaced in 1996. The wheel powered one run of stones, which was power enough even for the 50% efficient breast wheel. The owner is SPOOM member Philip Gettel, who lives beside mill. Address: Philip E. Gettel, Rt 4, Box 20, Floyd, VA 24091. Phone: 754-745-2614. Mr. Gettel passed away in late 2005, leaving the mill to his first wife & daughter.
