This view corresponds to the last photo for this mill 72 years later. On page 213 in the book, "Historic Morristown, N.J.: The Story of Its First Century" by Andrew M. Sherman, the author goes on to tell about Leddell's Mill being still in operation and grinding grain just as it had the 125 years prior, since 1780.

This is the mill as it faced the Tempe Wicke Road near Jockey Hollow. It was a grist Mill and also sawed lumber. Another photo at Digital Antiquaria website showed the mill as Leddell's Mills, with cut lumber piles several places on either side of the wagon shed/saw bed.
