The rear half or more of both the peaked roof section and the addition with the slanted roof are 3.5 stories which includes the limestone lower story/foundation.

The bottom story may well extend the whole structure from rear to front. Advertising on the brick wall indicates the enterprise was dealing in horse, cow, & poultry feeds, as well as grain, flour, and coal.
