Bonnot's Mill
From US 50 12 miles east of Jefferson City, take Sh A north for 6 miles from Loose Creek to Bonnot's Mill. The mill is on Old Mill Rd. next to the river.
The mill is 3.5 story frame structure with silvery metallic siding to resemble stone construction. The 25'X 40' mill was last known as Backes Feed Company but was not operating in May 1998.
The real attraction of Bonnot's Mill is the rest of this sleepy Missouri River town. A nice old distingushed Bed & Breakfast on the hill just north of and overlooking the mill and the river. Missouri Pacific Railroad runs between the mill and the river.
