Jim Miller

Jim Miller was born and raised in the heart of grist mill country--Bucks County, Pennsylvania. His interest in mills began when he was a young boy and his father worked at a three story frame mill in Dublin, Pennsylvania.

Jim's first love, photographing covered bridges, was eventually surpassed with the beauty he found in mills be they frame, brick, stone, or a combination thereof. His collection of hundreds of mill photos from New Jersey to Oregon is providing his early days of retirement with a goal; that of entering his pictures with information onto his web site for other mill enthusiasts to enjoy. Jim has been a member of SPOOM since the mid 1980's.

Barbershop singing is also a hobby of Jim's. He's a member of the local SPEBSQSA chorus.

The beautiful Oregon coast is home for Jim and his wife Edith.
